Pregnancy relaxation and birth prep classes

Join a small group of other expectant mam’s for an hour of relaxation tailored to pregnancy. Take an hour out to focus on you and your baby with mindfulness practice, guided relaxation and a different hypnobirthing topic of discussion each week. These sessions will not only give you some much needed time to relax during pregnancy but will allow you to build invaluable tools for labour and birth. 

My pregnancy relaxation groups offer a safe, calm space for you to experience guided relaxation tailored to pregnancy, meet other expectant mums with similar due dates to you and experience some of the valuable tools of hypnobirthing that you can take with you in to labour.

Session are one hour per week for four weeks and are made up of:

  • Mindfulness practice to release tension

  • A different hypnobirthing topic each week from hormones in labour, releasing fear and anxiety around labour, birth plans and places to give birth.

  • A pregnancy specific guided relaxation

There are so many benefits of practicing relaxation in pregnancy, from getting a better nights sleep (hello, pregnancy insomnia!), reducing stress which benefits you and baby, bonding with baby, lowers blood pressure, women who regularly practice relaxation in pregnancy are less likely to report pain levels as high - yes please! Relaxation, the more it’s practiced, is an amazing skill to take in to labour with you too. We know that being relaxed in labour makes labour easier, shorter and more comfortable and the more you practice relaxation the easier it will be to tap in to when you need it
